Born into the dynamic world of financial services in 1992, I embarked on a journey that has defined my professional identity. My name is Robert, and I have spent over three decades navigating the intricate landscape of banking, investments, and mortgages.

My career trajectory soared when I earned the prestigious title of Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch in 2000, a role I thrived in until 2003. The turning point arrived when I assumed the position of Partner at Fortius Financial Advisors, transitioning seamlessly into the realm of Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) until 2013.

In 2013, I embraced a new challenge, taking on the role of Director of Sales at Axiom Financial, immersing myself in the intricate world of mortgages. The year 2016 marked a significant chapter as I played a pivotal role in establishing American Pacific Mortgage in Utah, overseeing its growth to five branches in just three years.

Venturing into the broker world in 2020, I bring a wealth of experience to my current role as the Vice President of Sales at First Rate Home Loans, where I’ve been an integral part of the team since December 2023.

Beyond the boardroom, my passion for coaching has been a constant thread weaving through the fabric of my life. Since 2005, I’ve coached numerous kids in basketball, baseball, and football, leaving an indelible mark on the youth of Davis County. Recognizing the parallels between coaching in sports and guiding individuals through the mortgage process, I proudly embrace the moniker “Coach B the Mortgage Coach.”

My commitment to coaching extends to my own family. Married, my wife Becki and I have four children, one already happily married and another soon to be, with two more kids (one in High School at Davis High and one at Kaysville Jr. High) and a dog completing our home.

In both my professional and personal endeavors, I find immense satisfaction in setting ambitious goals and seeing them come to fruition. Life, much like sports and mortgages, is a journey of planning, execution, and triumph.
